Online Show & Sale Date:

$20 for up to 5 submissions (non-refundable).

Submissions:
Registration information and digital images are to be submitted between March 11 and March 18 using the submission form found BELOW. Firm Deadline: March 18, 2022.
Artists will have an opportunity to review their submissions March 27 to 29. This is to check for correctness not a resubmit.
Artists may submit up to 5 ORIGINAL works of art. The first 3 must be new. The remaining 2 may have been previously shown but not in the last online show.
Artwork to be submitted must be original manually produced artwork which includes:

Paintings in a variety of mediums,

Original Manually-Produced Prints,

Drawings,

Collage,
-
Sculpture,
-
Card Sets/gift items based on your own artwork.
All artwork must be for sale. There is no size limit
Buyers will purchase artwork online through our Art Show Website using a secure credit card payment app.
Artists will contact the buyer to arrange for delivery, buyer pick-up or shipping. At checkout it states there will be additional charges if artwork needs to be shipped.
Artists will confirm delivery including the invoice number as well as how the purchaser found out about the show to beachguildoffineart@outlook.com
The Beach Guild of Fine Art (BGFA) will withhold a 20% commission on all sales during the show. Artists will be paid for Sold Art by cheque mailed by Treasurer at the conclusion of the show, minus 20% COMMISSION to BGFA. The financial transactions for artwork sold at shows sponsored by the Club, must be made through the Club.

You will pay your SUBMISSION FEE OF $20 by e-transfer when you submit your form.
SALES OF WORK
Upon the sale of a piece, the artist will be notified by email of the sale and provided with the contact information (name, mailing address, email address and phone number) of the buyer. Please ask the buyer how they found out about the show.

BUYER INQUIRIES AND PICK-UP/DELIVERIES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ARTIST AND BUYER to work out a mutually agreeable arrangement.

The BGFA executive will not be responsible for arrangements for safe delivery of a piece of artwork including but not limited to: packaging, hand-delivery, delivery by mail or courier. Nor will the executive be responsible for the resolution of any disputes between the buyer and the artist.
When you submit your artwork to a BGFA show your artwork is considered to be under contract to being sold under the show's banner and is subject to being charged commission to BGFA for any sale that occurs during the term of the show plus 30 days after. Artists are expected to act in good faith such that the club does not suffer a loss of commissions as the funds help sustain our ability to continue to host the shows on-line and in person once allowed.

Artwork must not be a copy, derivative or based on the work of others or in any way an infringement of copyright.

Work created from a work by another artist, an image found in a book, newspaper, Pinterest, magazine or using a photographic image captured by another photographer artist without written permission to use the photograph cannot be considered original.

The photographs must be an exact representation of the work being submitted. If your artwork is framed or matted your photograph should include the frame or mat. Images will not be cropped or realigned by the BGFA and must be ready to publish to the website as photographed. When photographing your painting, ensure that all background visuals are removed. Any background visuals, walls, easels, etc. will be considered part of your painting.

Artwork may be framed or unframed. Frames and matting must be in new condition with a wire with taped ends a 1/4 way down from the top of the frame. Label the back of your artwork with your name and title. If framed, the frame is included as part of the price.

When you submit an image, you are agreeing that the BGFA may use the image of your artwork on its beachguildoffineart.com website and/or social media.

Artists will supply a short artist's statement about their inspiration for the artwork featured or in general. (50 words or less).

Works must not be offensive or condescending towards any race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation, and must not be used to promote or oppose political views. The BGFA reserves the right to refuse to accept a piece of artwork.
ART SHOW RULES
Artwork Must Be Original.
Return Policy:

All purchases are final and non-refundable except if the purchased artwork is no longer available at the time of the transaction, in which case the total of the transaction will be refunded to the Buyer.

Buyers and Artists will ensure that all contact and billing information is accurate and up to date.
Shipping Policy:

The Artist is responsible for contacting the Buyer by telephone or email in order to arrange for pick-up or delivery.

Pick up, delivery or shipping of the artwork as agreed to by the Artist and Buyer will be arranged within 7 days after a purchase is processed. The purchaser will assume the shipping cost.

The Buyer is responsible for a purchased work from the moment it is delivered to them or from the moment it is picked up from the Artist.
